Faith Based Conference
"Does a faith based organisation really make a difference to an organisation or to service delivery ?"
On the 19th & 20th November 2007 Centacare Canberra & Goulburn in conjunction with Catholic Social Services NSW/ACT Branch hosted a conference to consider whether being a faith based organisation makes a difference to the way an organisation is run or to the way services are delivered to the community.
The conference focused on how a faith based organisation is shaped by a faith based ethos and the impact this has in relation to perceptions held by the community towards the organisation and the way services are delivered to meet identified needs. Conference presentations explored the complexity of issues involved in working for a faith based organisation that delivers services to and across a diverse community.
