Flexible Family Respite Program
Flexible Family Respite is a service providing short term, emergency, one-off and some long term respite in a way that meets family needs. The aim of the program is to reduce the ongoing need for formal respite through promoting a positive adaption to caregiving, fostering the independence of the carer and the person being cared for. The program provides support to families caring for a person with a disability, a person with mental health issues, a person who is aged, or a person who has chronic health care needs.

Mature Carers
The Mature Carers program provides support to carers of a person with a disability, over the age of 65yrs (45yrs for ATSI groups) to enable the person with a disability to remain in the family home. Planning and case management is provided to ensure that future options are considered, and services implemented if required, for when the carer is unable to continue in this role and the person with a disability may require alternative accommodation. Skill development programs and ‘Future Planning’ are the core services for this program.
